NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in Wales, and you are required by law to stay at home. However, hospitality venues can still provide takeaway and delivery services.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Set in the hinterland of Aberystwyth, to which it is linked by the Vale of Rheidol narrow-gauge railway, this imposing hotel, rebuilt in 1838 for the owner of the Hafod estate, adjoins the famous Devil's Bridge (actually three bridges, vertically stacked) that overlooks the Mynach waterfalls and dramatic wooded gorge. Welcoming to families and dogs, the bar is linked to the main hotel by a large tearoom where Sunday lunch (carvery) is served; other meals may be taken in restaurant, tearoom, or bar. Stunning views, unsurpassed walking opportunities, and splendid birdwatching abound in the vicinity.
