Pub intends to reopen OUTDOORS from Monday 26th April 2021.

Booking in ADVANCE is required. Table service ONLY!

Covered outdoor seating with a heater available.

Our new opening hours are:

Monday to Saturday 3-9pm
Sunday 12-6pm
Food cooked Friday and Saturday 5-8pm
Sunday lunch 12-2pm
(All food must be pre ordered due to time restraints)
Takeaways food and drinks will also continue for the time being.

About the Pub

Friendly and welcoming 18th-century former coaching inn with wood fires in both bars. Has maintained its traditional character. A separate restaurant serves home cooked food.

The landlord is passionate about real ale and encourages customers to taste and experience the variety of flavours; 1/3 pint tasting boards available. An in-house cask ale members' club has been established with regular brewery visits and brewers' speaker/taster events. Beers are varied and selected from local and national brewers. Six cask ales on hand pump. Usually a new ale every couple of days, Over 180 different cask ales introduced in the last twelve months.
