About the Pub

The pub is named after the local legend of Merlin and an ancient Oak tree which is depicted throughout the premises. Local Welsh ales are always available as well as a good selection of ales from around the world. It has a good selection of bottled and canned Craft Ale, both local and international in origin. There are two international beer festivals; in the spring and autumn each year. There is also a cider festival each summer. The pub also hosts a number of "Meet the Brewer" sessions throughout the year. Food served all day.
