Hungry Horse (Greene King)
About the Pub
Large food-led pub on Whitchurch Common which is part of Greene King’s “Hungry Horse” chain. The interior is modern in style and extensive comprising several linked dining and drinking areas, some on different levels. The food offering is almost bewildering with a wide range of very competitively-priced dishes including special deals so it’s worth taking some time to take in the options. The Greene King IPA is the standard cask ale and has for company a guest ale which could be sourced from anywhere, sometimes an ale rarely if ever seen in the area. Parking at the front is limited but includes spaces for disabled drivers. There is additional parking at the rear of the premises. Quiz on Thursday evening.
