About the Pub
Behind an ornate wood and glass frontage, the Cottage has a long, narrow interior. Built around 1750, it is one of the oldest inns in Cardiff. A classic Brains pub, it serves a full range of the brewery's ales and a guest beer, along with home-cooked food until mid evening. Decorated with old photographs of the city, this is a convivial retreat on a main street where the nightlife can be hectic. It is usually busy on rugby international match days.
