About the Pub
The Foundry has just moved to a new home close to its previous location, and reopened on Sat Oct 13 2018. There is a large bar area with an industrial feel, from which double doors open up into the brewery and the restaurant area, a lovely Kent barn. There are usually six ales, plus three or more ciders, which are mostly produced by Canterbury Brewery. Ask the friendly staff to help you choose. The taster palette of 5 beers, one-third of a pint each, is popular. The brewery's own bottled ale, gin, vodka and rum can be bought to take away. Good value pub food is available, ask staff for details of food offers. CAMRA members receive a 10% discount on Canterbury Brewery real ales.
