About the Pub
Formerly the Brewery Tap of the BlackBar brewery that brewed here for 5 years from December 2011. BrewBoard took over in January 2017 with the brewing of their own key-keg beers commencing in June. They now running brewery tap nights from 5 until 11, two Fridays a month, and more low key openings each Saturday 4-8pm. A large wooden bar sits in front the brewing area. Wooden benches and tables are along the side with additional seating outside. There's a real fire for the colder months. A DJ station is positioned above the cold room for their Friday events that are attended by changing gourmet food vendors. They sometimes also feature live music. The beers are primarily their own though other keg beers may also be available.
