About the Pub
Once a Good Beer Guide (2001 to 2012 editions) pub run by legendary landlord Nick Winnington, and his wife Mandy, until their retirement in 2012. The pub then went through several changes including as an Italian restaurant where non-eating drinkers were not welcome.
Thankfully in October 2017 it reopened as a friendly pub once more and now offers a choice of up to five ales from Elgoods and other regional brewers. Food ranges from breakfast 10-noon Saturday & Sunday top pizzas and burgers. There is also a changing gourmet food van each Tuesday and Thursday evening.
The pub sponsors Milton FC, Waterbeach Sunday FC and other local clubs.
