About the Pub

RE-OPENED ON 12th APRIL 2021. OPENING TIMES AND BOOKING REQUIREMENTS TO BE CONFIRMED.

This riverside pub is located in the old part of Bingley next to a 13th century bridge and has been serving as a hostelry for over 100 years. Following inundation by the Boxing Day 2015 floods, the pub underwent its second refurbishment within a year. It was restored to its former glory re-opened in April 2016, with the flood level being marked by plaques on the walls. A warm welcome awaits all. The pub is especially popular with diners and it is advisable to book ahead for meals especially at weekends. For those who just want a drink, armchairs and bar-stools are present closer to the bar. An extensive range of Timothy Taylor beers is offered. A small range of international bottled beers are also stocked. Live music is played, usually on Fridays and Saturdays, and there is a quiz night on Tuesdays. The pub is close to the St Ives estate and promotes walking and cycling in the area. An upstairs function room is available for hire.
