About the Pub

Small and comfortable bar with a stripped-back modern style of bare brick and wood. Its size encourages friendly chat between a mixed crowd of drinkers looking to experience the more modern and adventurous style of craft beers, often from local brewers. These include up to three cask conditioned ales. Keg beers can be from sought-after breweries such as Cloudwater and Beavertown, and are dispensed from an unusual multi keg font. Further choice is provided from a wall of fridges containing bottles and cans of UK and foreign beers and ciders. It can be a little cramped at times but it is hoped soon to expand by opening an upstairs drinking area. The toilets have an adapted cask in use as a washbasin.
