NOTICE: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

A nationwide lockdown is currently in place in England, and you are required by law to stay at home. Hospitality venues can still provide food takeaway and delivery services, but can only sell alcohol by delivery service.

But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.

If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub

Currently under threat from developers. Birmingham Council yet to make a final decision on redevelopment. Had a last minute lease extension until 30/06/2019 & then another taking it into Jan 2020, before closing.

Less than a minute from The Barclaycard Arena, The Flapper is Birmingham's leading independent live music venue and canalside pub.

The spacious bar strives to serve quality beverages at more-than affordable prices; with 2 rotating guest ales, a permanent house ale (Robinsons' Trooper) and a permanent house scrumpy (Westons' Old Rosie).

With one of the largest beer gardens in Birmingham and a balcony overlooking the longboats in Cambrian Wharf, any season is a good season to sit outside and admire the serenity surrounding The Flapper's hidden-away location.

Quiz Nights on Thursdays. Closed Sunday & Monday.
