About the Pub

The pub takes its name from its location on what was the New Cross Turnpike, one of many private toll roads. It is an attractive Wetherspoon pub on four levels including a gallery and two patios. Opened in 1998, it was previously a Nat West bank, re-opened in February 2016 after a major fire. Disabled access includes a lift and a ground floor toilet. Usually about four guest ales are available. The management aim to ensure local beers are always available. Alcoholic drinks are served from 9am. No new admittances after 11pm are permitted.
