About the Pub

Popular and welcoming canalside pub, close to the town bridge and local amenities. It has fine views of the locks and nearby St Nicolas Church. Food is served all day until 9pm (8pm Sun). The L-shaped open-plan interior is stylish and comfortably furnished. A roof terrace and plenty of outside seating provide the perfect setting for a fine day.

Beers are selected from the Fuller’s range including Gales and Dark Star. Traditional pub food is freshly cooked to order by the chef - available from noon to 9pm (8pm Sun). There is regular live music and families are welcome until 9pm. Dog biscuits and blankets are provided.

Reduced opening times from January 2022 and kitchen closed until 16 Jan 2022.
