About the Pub

Bedfordshire's first micropub at the roundabout near RAF Henlow has evolved into a traditional small bar. It is a one room pub run mainly as a beerhouse but also serves a small selection of wines and spirits and has Warsteiner, plus two craft keg ales and Young's London Stout. There are usually 4 Real Ales served direct from the cask from both local brewers and those further afield along with a good range of real ciders, mainly Lilleys. Memorabilia is related to forms of transport hence the pub's name. Live bands play monthly. The pub is closed on Sunday and Monday on bank holiday weekends.

Historic Interest

Opened as a Micropub 19 Sep 2014 in a former retail outlet. The building dates from early 1970s.
