About the Pub

A pub from 1840 and formerly known as the Wheatsheaf, it changed name to the March Hare in the mid 1980's under Whitbreads control. It closed in 2008, until bought and rescued by the current licensees in February 2010. After a refurbishment, it re-opened in August 2010 as a freehouse and is fast becoming the focal point of village activities. Many local clubs meet here with pub games and occasional live music proving very popular. Mini beer festivals held twice a year, plus a cider festival. East Beds branch Pub of the Year 2013.

Historic Interest

A pub from 1840, later owned by Whitbreads, then a freeehouse in 2010.
