We are required to register contact details of all our guests for NHS Test and Trace purposes and will be destroyed after 21 days.
There will be hand sanitisers throughout for you to use
INSIDE: All our customers will have to be seated, there will be no standing or seating at the bar. There will be table service for food and drinks and you may book a table for up to 6 people (inside only) There will be social distancing in place, please make sure you adhere to them. In our Village bar where we show sports, tables will need to be booked in advance if you would like to watch your favourite team
There will be a cleaning schedule in place, sanitising door handles etc every 15 - 20 mins and sanitising tables and chairs after each customer.
OUTSIDE: Tables will be on a first come first served basis, the tables have been placed with social distancing in mind so we ask you not to move the tables. There will also be lots of signs around. The children’s play area will be closed for the time being. This is for your safety and for us and all our staff so please respect our policies.
There is a new limited menu, which is on our website and will be placed around the pub for you to look at. Food will be served in disposables with disposable cutlery and sauces will be in sachets to reduce contamination. We will not be serving Sunday roasts for the time being due to food being in disposables.
We are encouraging contactless payments but we will accept cash
Please follow any advice given by licensee or staff.

About the Pub

A village pub has stood on this site since 1645, but majority of the building is late 19th century and Grade II listed. It has a large 45 seater restaurant offering lunch and evening a la carte menus, plus a daily specials board. The public bar has comfy seats, BT and Sky Sports on large screen TV, darts and fruit machines. The lounge bar has a big open fireplace and cosy atmosphere. A large enclosed child friendly garden has play equipment, plus there are barbecues and an outside bar for summer events.

A pub dating back to 1645, although greatly altered in 19th century.
