Reopening on Monday 6th July at 3.00pm with revised opening hours (details to follow).
There will be no service inside the pub as only the beer garden will be open.
Orders will be taken at the front door and served from the side door near the car park to maintain safe social distancing and to follow government guidelines. Card payment will be preferred but cash may still be used.
There will be a marquee in the garden for when the weather is less than ideal and the outside toilets will be the only ones available. On the wall of the covered area near the toilets there will be a hand-sanitiser dispenser for general use
The pub will have menus for pizzas from Pecoro who will deliver orders for free.
Please ensure adherence to social distancing guidelines and follow any advice given by the licensee or staff.

About the Pub

Established circa 1861, this pub is located close to the railway station and was extensively refurbished in 2018. It has a an L-shaped bar area with several TVs for BT Sports coverage. Live music is featured every Saturday with bands playing in the 'dart board' alcove overlooking the car park. The two 'guest' Real Ales listed are simply examples as they are changed regularly. The pub welcomes a clientele of all ages, mainly from the local area, with some commuters dropping in on their way home. The large beer garden is appreciated by most visitors when the weather is suitable.
