Notice: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A lockdown is currently in place in mainland Scotland, and you are required by law to stay at home. However, some hospitality venues can still provide takeaway and delivery services.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Known locally as the Mudhook, after the Mudhook Sailing Club, which was founded in the pub in 1873. It is located across the road from the site of the Fife Boatbuilding Yard, where the world famous Fife racing yachts were built. The pub walls are decorated with photos of Fife yachts, many by local photographer Marc Turner.
Brian Flanagan has returned The Village Inn to what it does best – being a community local with good value pub food, served in the lounge, conservatory, Fife Room and traditional public bar. The pub hosts a monthly quiz and occasional live music – check facebook for details.
Dogs are welcome in the public bar, and children in other areas if eating. Cards, dominoes and board games available.
The real ale is normally from a Scottish brewery. It is likely to be 4,5% ABV or lower, to suit local preference. There are plans to install 2 additional handpumps in the near future.
