But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.

About the Pub
Reputedly the oldest in the town, this small thatched pub with strong Burns’ connections is now the only one left on Ayr’s High Street. An inglenook (with gas fire) dominates the main seating area. One handpump serves a beer from Ayr Brewing Co. Food is served in the restaurant until 5pm (7pm in summer), where children are welcome, or can be brought through to the bar area. Open Mic Night on Friday and occasional live music. A new beer garden, with its own bar has opened in the adjacent lane.
