About the Pub

This ex Mackeson and Shepherd Neame pub became a free house in 2009. It was originally built as a hotel and provided refreshment to troops as it is on a path between Shorncliffe Camp and the sea.

The pub has three or four continuously changing beers from all over Great Britain, usually including at least one local beer. Live music occasionally during the summer, tasty home-made pub grub every day, bar billiards and third pint glasses are available, also football, cricket and snooker on satellite TV.
