About the Pub

The Pilot sits within one of the most unique settings in the country, the shingle desert of Dungeness. The sea is a stone’s throw away and views extend to the White Cliffs and France.

This busy family friendly pub is renowned for its fish and chips but also a wide range of other freshly-cooked dishes. National nature reserve, RSPB bird sanctuary Dungeness nuclear power station are nearby.

Please Note:

The maximum stay in the car park is three hours, unless specifically agreed with The Pilot Management, all offenders will incur a £200 fine. Motorhomes and campers are specifically not allowed to park at The Pilot overnight without express permission from The Pilot management. Campers and motorhomes are only allowed to stay overnight if all of the occupants of the vehicle eat meals at The Pilot on the evening of arrival and any vehicles staying overnight must leave before 11am the next day, any vehicles flouting this rule will incur a £200 fine. All overnight stays must respect our neighbours: no noise, no games, no barbeques or other cooking in the car park. Any abuse of our hospitality will result in immediate eviction.
