About the Pub

This beautiful old-worldly village pub was built in 1800, and was initially called the Cross Keys. Owned by Everards Brewery and leased by the Brunswick Inn and Brewery based in Derby, It is very popular with locals, walking groups, cycling groups, dog walkers and ale lovers alike. A main stone flagged bar area with low ceilings, high backed pews and a large open fire is flanked by a cosy snug. A newer delightfully airy conservatory extension sits at the back, which leads to an open well maintained drinking area. Has 7 hand pulls, plus Bass and Abbot served direct from the cask. Holds B-B-Q's in summer and an annual beer festival.
