Notice: Venues need your support more than ever during the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
A lockdown is currently in place in mainland Scotland, and you are required by law to stay at home. However, some hospitality venues can still provide takeaway and delivery services.
But please be aware that opening hours and services may be different to those displayed here. Before visiting or ordering from any venue, we strongly advise you to check its website or social media, or get in touch with them first to avoid disappointment.
If you see any details here that need updating, please let us know by submitting feedback on the pub.
Updates
Copied from Facebook page.
The overwhelming messages of support from our lovely customers has blown us away. It has shown us how much the pub means to the village and community.
With the assistance of a bounce back loan and a bit of help from the government it looks like there may be a chance we can get the doors open again.
It won't be the same as it was before though.
We will be opening for accommodation from Monday 20th but just on a room only basis. A breakfast room will however be available for guests to make themselves a light breakfast.
We will no longer be serving any lunches or evening meals.
The pub will be open but only on the weekends from 24th July.
Friday - 6.00pm to 11.00pm
Saturday - 6.00pm to 11.00pm
Sunday - 3.00pm to 7.00pm
Sorry it isn't open later but we hope you agree a bit of a pub is better than no pub.
There will be no bar stools and people will not be allowed to stand at the bar.
You will have to come in and take a seat and will only be allowed to come in if a table is available.
Orders and payment (by card only) will be made from your table .
There will be no juke box!
No music nights or music sessions will be permitted.
Toilet facilities will be one person in and one person out.
Hand sanitisers will be available.
Obviously the situation is constantly changing so we will update our FB page closer to our opening date if any of these restrictions are to change.
If things seem like they are back to normal in the pub then we are doing things wrong. We are trying to at least have some sort of facility in the village and really hope that it is supported.
We are still actively looking for a buyer, but until then we will do everything we can to keep going.
We look forward to opening the doors.

About the Pub
This traditional village inn has both lounge and public bars. In March 2017 Grant & Jody Spence launched the Speyside Coffee Roasting Co. creating a cafe in what used to be the games room. However there is a pool table in the public bar with a TV screen and a juke box.
A plaque commemorating the signing of the Solemn League and Covenant hangs on a house wall 200 yards away. Car park is just across the road.
