About the Pub

*** Closed 30th October 2021 till Spring 2022 for refurbishment ***

Reopened late March 2018 after refurbished including new kitchen and revamped bedrooms. An easy walk from the harbour front, the Ferry is handy for buses to Kirkwall and the mainland ferry from Scrabster.

Popular with locals and visitors, many of whom are on Orkney for diving on the sunken German fleet at Scapa Flow, others for the various attractions nearby such as the Ring of Brodgar and Scara Brae village.

Annual Folk and Blues festivals are held and often a marquee is erected outside complete with a pump of ale.

Joint CAMRA Northern Isles Pub Of The Year 2018.
