About the Pub

Previously known as Oscars; before that the Three Lamps, and originally the Cheese Hall! Now back to it's original name. Town centre open plan pub, next to the Market Hall on Hill Street. In the 'good old days', it was reputed to have had a direct link from the backstage of the Lyceum Theatre into what was then the 'Edam Room'. Part of Marston's Group, previously Whitbread.
